More searching and reading. New numbers but they're pretty close. Soft top FJ40 3263lbs and 3427lbs for the hard top FJ40. Funny, I also got 3792 lbs for the FJ40 with the 2F engine. I think the 2F and F engine weigh the same. Maybe the FJ40 just got 300 lbs heavier in 1975 .
